Christmas Kids

WHO: Families with a total household income no higher than 150% of the Federal Poverty Level may register in person for assistance through this program.  Federal Poverty Level figures for 2023 can be found online here: https://www.healthcare.gov/glossary/federal-poverty-level-fpl/

WHAT: Families meeting designated income guidelines may register their children to receive Christmas gifts from generous sponsors.  

 

WHEN / WHERE: To register your family, you must come in person to the House of the Carpenter on these dates:

• Tuesday, October 15, 2024 - 9am to 3pm

• Thursday, October 17, 2024 - 9am to 3pm

• Tuesday, October 22, 2024 - 9am to 3pm

• Thursday, October 24, 2024 - 9am to 3pm

*Please note, registrations will only be accepted in person on these dates. There is no other way or time to register your family.

 

How to Register Your Family:

To register your family, you must bring all of documentation listed below to the HOC on one of the dates listed:

• Identification of the Parent Guardian Registering the Family,

• Social Security Cards for ALL Members of the Household,

• Guardianship Paperwork for Children Being Registered, If Applicable,

• Children’s Clothing Sizes and Wish List,

• Working Phone Number, and

• Proof of Income for All Members of the Household, such as:

  • Pay Stub

  • Tax Return

  • Social Security / Disability Letter

  • Letter from DHHR or Job & Family

Please note, requests for large ticket items, such as gaming systems, bicycles, etc., cannot be accepted.

Participants must keep in mind that they may only register for Christmas assistance with one local agency.  The HOC does cross-reference registrations with other local agencies.  Anyone found to have registered with more than one agency will not receive assistance from ANY of those agencies for a period of at least one year.
