Summer Camp

Each year we provide children and youth in third through twelfth grades with an opportunity to attend summer camp. This is a wonderful experience full of worship, small group discussion, nature activities, games, crafts, and fellowship with fellow campers and camp staff. We partner with Camp Aldersgate in Carrollton, Ohio to offer young people an opportunity to experience summer camp.

We will partner with Camp Aldersgate again this year to offer four weeks of summer camp with transportation provided. The four weeks of classic camp to be offered for students entering grades 3-12 will take place July 8-13, July 15-20, July 22-27, and July 29-August 3. We will also offer Music, Arts, Dance, and Drama (MADD) Camp for students entering grades 8-12 during the week of July 8-13. Please note that each week is capped at a total of 12 students, including the week of July 8-13.

Due to the rising costs per camper and a desire to increase camper investment, we have decided to increase the financial investment of each family based on income and family size. We realize these costs might appear to be too much for your family and therefore we are offering a six-month payment plan beginning in January 2018. We will also offer fundraising opportunities to offset the cost to your family, which are detailed in the letter below.

The House of the Carpenter is dedicated to building relationships with young people and their families. This is why we want to partner with you to continuously increase opportunities for interaction and our mutual investment in the children and youth of this community.

The registration form can be found here.
