My Dear Friends:
If you have firsthand knowledge of The House of the Carpenter, you know of the special people that God has given us the privilege of serving. If you are just being introduced to The House of the Carpenter, I invite you to not only read about us, but to come and visit us to see for yourself the vital services we provide for those less fortunate than ourselves. A friendly caution when you do visit — step carefully as you walk through our new facility which is still under construction on the inside!
At The House of the Carpenter, there are four words that stand above all others. The four words are care, concern, compassion and commitment. These words really represent a motto among the dedicated (and overworked!) staff and volunteers. The children and familes that we serve are anxious for our space to be completed so that new programs can begin.
