The House of the Carpenter has been very active in flood response over the past two months in Triadelphia, southern WV and Follansbee. During this time the HOC has help provide over $55,000 worth of cleaning supplies, bottled water, shovels, mops and lime to the flooded areas. Three work teams have also been deployed. Two of the teams have helped to muck out houses in Richwood and 1 team helped to rebuild a house in Webster Springs. Over 1,300 volunteer hours have been donated to flood recovery. Currently, the HOC is hosting a team from NY that is working to clean homes in Follansbee.
